So far the only alternative was PicPosterous, app that only allowed us to upload photos and videos but no text. With the new app Posterous can include any item on our website as desirable including metadata tags and location information and of course our posts to unionize all kinds of social services like Twitter, Facebook, Picasa and MySpace among 20 more.
Posterous is free and compatible with IOS 4.0 onwards, supports multitasking and optimized tasks up and sharing multimedia, allowing users to start running almost immediately both from the app or on the website, so it will only have to provide email or name.
Of course, if we choose to registering enjoy some advantages as the ability to manage multiple sites at once, assemble and create a network of collaborators, post by e-mail and edit photos and upload.
